Thank you Orange County taxpayers for giving me a first place victory in the June Primary! Voters recognize I am the only candidate with on the job experience.

My office voluntarily cut Department overhead in 2007 (22%), 2008 (60%) and 2009 (20%). I will demand accountability in government to ensure your tax dollars are not wasted.

As Treasurer I will use technology to further reduce the size and scope of government. We have received National Achievement awards for our success in streamlining government, and I will build on these accomplishments.

While Deputy Treasurer our investment pools achieved Standard & Poor’s highest rating of “AAAm” for stability and liquidity – we are the ONLY government investment pool to have earned this sterling rating.
